Environment

The SCIT networking lab (netLAB) is an enterprise simulated data center equipped with multiple racks outfitted with various Cisco routers & switches, PowerEdge servers, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) and other components. The lab acts as a fully contained LAN or intranet interconnecting rack terminals and workstations.

Objectives

Obtain industry level knowledge of how networking devices function together to provide a feasible network solution that allows data to navigate across enterprise-wide networks.

Projects

Addressing and multisite network planning, static and dynamic routing protocol configurations, virtual LAN implementations, Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM) network design, Active Directory implementations, and much more.
