How can I determine where I stand with respect to fulfilling the requirements for a degree?
Anytime prior to graduation you may request a review of your degree progress. Official degree checks detail those requirements remaining to be satisfied for the completion of your degree or diploma. Contact the Registrar's Office in person for degree checks.
Can I receive my degree or diploma with an Incomplete (I) grade on my record?
No. An incomplete grade signifies that you have not completed a required course needed to graduate from a diploma or degree program.
How do I remove an Incomplete (I) grade from my record?
Since there may be many reasons why a student receives an Incomplete (I) grade, requests to remove an Incomplete (I) grade is evaluated on a case by case basis. Students wishing to remove an Incomplete (I) grade should contact the Student Services Department for more information.
When are grades available and how can I view my grades for a module?
Course grades are available the first Monday following the final exam. Grades are usually posted in the lunch room.
What if a grade is missing for one of my courses? What do I do?
If a grade is missing, speak with the instructor first. If the instructor acknowledges there is a mistake in the posted grade, then contact Student Services to correct the mistake.
GPA is based on all grades and credit hours earned to date. A letter grading of 'A' is a grade point of 4, a letter grading of 'B' is a grade point of 3, a letter grading of 'C' is a grade point of 2, a letter grading of 'D' is a grade point of 1 and a letter grading of 'F' is a grade point of 0. The grade points of all completed courses to date weighed against the credit hours for each respective course is averaged to give your current GPA.
Does withdrawing from a course affect my GPA?
No.
Do transferred units affect my GPA?
No.
