Diploma FAQ

How soon after graduation will my diploma or degree be available?

Diplomas and degrees are normally available to be picked up or mailed after two (2) weeks of completing final coursework.

How can I be sure that my diploma is ready for pick-up?

Diplomas and Degrees are normally ready for pick-up two (2) weeks of completing final coursework. Contact the Registrar's Office if you would like to check to see whether or not your diploma or degree is ready for pick-up.

How much do I have to pay for my Diploma or Degree?

The first diploma or degree is free of charge. Additional diplomas or degrees cost $20 each or $25 each if rushed (ready within 1-2 business days).

Can my diploma be mailed to me?

Yes. Contact the Registrar's Office if you would like your diploma or degree to be mailed to you. There is no additional charge to mail diplomas or degrees. Effort will be taken to prevent the diploma or degree from being damaged in the mail but there are no guarantees. Diplomas or degrees will not be replaced for free if damaged in the mail! Additional diplomas or degrees cost $20 each or $25 each if rushed (ready within 1-2 business days).

Can someone pick up my diploma for me?

Yes. In order for another person to pick up your diploma or degree, he/she must:

1. Present a letter written and signed by you stating the name and giving permission to the person you wish to pick up your diploma or degree.

2. Present some form of identification (ID) of him or herself.

I completed a double major. Will I receive two degrees?

Yes.

Can anything prevent the release of my diploma or degree?

Your diploma or degree is not released if you have outstanding financial obligations to the College.

Can I obtain more than one copy of my diploma?

Yes. Additional diplomas or degrees cost $20 each or $25 each if rushed (ready in 1-2 business days)

My original diploma was lost or destroyed. How can I get a new one?

You can order a new diploma or degree for $20 each or $25 each if rushed (ready in 1-2 business days)

An error was made on my diploma. How can I get it corrected?

Contact the Registrar's Office to correct the mistake. There are no additional fees for corrections made to diplomas or degrees.

My name has changed. How can I ensure that this will be reflected on my diploma?

You must contact the Registrar's Office if your name has changed so that we may update your information in our records. It is your responsibility to contact the Registrar's Office to update any personal information including name changes and/or address changes.
