ACTIVE DUTY

Military Tuition Assistance (TA) Benefits

Active duty military students may be eligible to participate in the Military Tuition Assistant (TA) program as a source of financial aid to help fund eligible educational expenses. The TA program is a unique, distinct source of financial aid available to eligible servicemembers. TA is a first payer as it relates to paying for eligible educational expenses. Each of the service branches and the U.S. Coast Guard offer financial assistance for voluntary, off-duty education programs in support of service members’ personal and professional goals. The program is open to officers, warrant officers and enlisted active-duty service personnel. Each military branch has its own TA application form and procedures, which you can learn more about by clicking on the appropriate link for your service branch:

Service members need to first check with and seek approval from their Education Services Officer (ESO), military counselor, or Service prior to enrollment.
